Which is a fine example of replacing one piece of jargon with another and expecting its meaning to suddenly become clear.

I directly said that voltage was analogous to pressure, you used jargon to say that it is analogous to a difference in pressure.

Let's wait and see if the original poster is

a) satisfied
b) still curious or confused
