Hi all,
I just joined the electronics industry.
There are a lot of things I don't understand.
Firstly, why is UPS using voltage while a circuit breaker is using ampere.
Q1) There is no resistor between them so how does the "change" occur?
Q2) Are busbar and PE bar complete opposite of each other in terms of functions?
Q3) Does any of you know what this abbreviations stand for? IDU as well as PLTS??
Thanks in advance.

hi, welcome to the forums :)

Firstly, why is UPS using voltage while a circuit breaker is using ampere.

circuit breakers / fuses are always rated in Amps ( at a certain max voltage) it can pass before it trips

Q1) There is no resistor between them so how does the "change" occur?

I have no idea ... show us a circuit of the UPS you are referring to ??

Q2) Are busbar and PE bar complete opposite of each other in terms of functions?

A PE bar is a Protective Earth bar so depending on the installation and the local electrical regulations

There may be just a Phase and a Neutral bus bars The neutral may or may not be earthed
here in Australia and New Zealand, the Neutral is earthed at the switch/fuse box

other installations may require a Phase, Neutral and a separate PE bar

Q3) Does any of you know what this abbreviations stand for? IDU as well as PLTS ??
Thanks in advance.

IDU ---- has a zillion different uses

PLTS ---- has many meanings none related to your main subject ( electrical systems) that I could find

what context are you using them in ??
