I was wondering if there is any unforseen difference in how series-parallel batteries are configured.
Consider an 18 cell battery wired 6s3p.
One could have a parallel set of three cells and string six of those sets in series.
or
One could wire six cells in series and have 3 of those sets in parallel.
The result for both is 6 times the voltage, 3 times the amperage, right? Is there any benefit to one over the other?
