Hello, can somebody help wich transistor is like bfg520

Halo,
i am working on oscillator in multisim, but in database in multisim they dont have this transistor
can somebody help to find equivalen transistor please.... for multisim thanks

Is this oscillator working up to the GHz range? The ft (Transition Frequency) of this transistor is 9GHz.

if an ft of 6GHz is OK, then you could try this. The package is different so you'll have to do a bit of redesign of the board. There are others at Digikey. Other suppliers may have different stocked parts.

I dont find in multisim, and also is for 88MHZ-108MHZ, I found in internet local oscillator

is for frequency 88MHZ -108MHZ

For 100MHz you could try a BF199, which is a common one.

Isn't that one obsolete now?

Either way, if you use some supplier websites and their parametric search function, some sites even have multisim files for the devices (iirc).

Sorry but i realy dont know, i am searching on internet to find equivalent transistor bfg220, but i dont find nothing because first i search on internet, after i come here to ask for help

Well, why don't you tell us what RF transistors are available in multisym, then?

Well, look at the specs of the BFG520 then at the BFG transistors you have access to. Pick one that is close.

Is possible to put the schematic, because it was not so good picture in document maybe i make mistake….

LTSPICE uses a version of Spice so will probably work.
I use Simetrix Elements which is the best simulator I have ever come across. The BF199 is in my model data base. Simetrix Elements is free to down load but has a limitation on the number of nodes. That has only ever been a limiting factor on very large sim's that I have tried.
