My oldest boy said he thought I should have a 9mm, a clip, and some shells.
The package contained a 9mm ignition wrench, a paper clip, and 2 small seashells.
SOB is getting a lump of coal in his stocking next year.

I'v also been supplied with a "support" for one of my other hobbies.

But tinkering with electronics wasn't neglected either:

Silicone to withstand heat when soldering plus lots of "boxes" for keeping track of the small parts, some of the places even magnetic :)

@Harald Kapp,

I did! Funny story about that.

I got the skin off some grapes that grow in our yard with the powdery white stuff that I learned as yeast. I grew this for about 3 weeks, first just in water (the whole peel) then strained and adding flour, taking it through 5 or 6 feedings. Then I made a loaf. The taste was quite sour. I liked it, but the lovely wife Morticia did not. When I wasn't around, she threw away the starter!

The gift this year was to make up for that.

Is you little bench for wood carving? Morticia was taking lessons at one time and I made her a small bench very much like what you showed. Later we both made a full sized traditional workbench with dogs and vises.

I made mine from nothing but flour and water. The natural yeasts in the flour (and possibly in the air) were sufficient. After 3-4 days it was good for baking bread. The final experience was similar to yours: My wife didn't even try the bread :(
If you want to bring this to an engineering level, you may want to watch this.

Exactly. Any kind of woodwork as I can't have a full sized workbench in my appartment.

Here is the small one I built on top of the full sized one. Excuse the messy workshop!
