Hi guys here, I have a question can somebody identify what is the element here at microsoft surface pro 4 board and where I can get it except donor board . thanks for smart people.

Might be an oscillator/crystal. Not sure.
What makes you think this component is defect?

I'm not sure if is defective but if i look at it it looks like burn so this only my guess

Improbable. This kind of oscillator usually doesn't overheat.

I think you are right. i found something interesting and I think this bad guy is the problem

Harald erred on that one, they are powered, so hence they can fail and cook
that looks pretty obvious from your pic :)
Looks ok to me...

I think you are right. i found something interesting and I think this bad guy is the problem
Looks cracked. Doesn't necessarily mean its bad, could just be the package but its definitely suspect.
I looked a little but did not run across any sot23-6's with code of AJ8. If you find out what it is make sure to let us know !

*shrug* I think its the same board with different lighting and angle.
Only TS could really tell us I guess.

I don't know what it is, but it looks more like AJX to me.ajx.jpg

I checked X first (both with no good results) The smaller image I looked at seemed like it had some faint curves so I was leaning to 8 but this larger blown up one you are providing looks more like an X to me as well now.

yes this is same board . @bertus you are correct this AJX thanks for smart answer, but it seams it has 4 variations under AJX chip

There is only one in the housing you have.
The others have other housing or a small x.

@bertus ok it means TLV3011AIDCK is the correct part. and I will attached other picture do you know what is this component because I can't find by the number of part?
