I would highly appreciate any help in resolving this. I have a damaged 5 inch TFT touchscreen display (800 x 480) Dot-matrix LCD (128x32)(6) screen that needs to be replaced. Unfortunately I am unable to find any more information off the assembly. I have spent days trying to find the right replacement however I could use some help. Please see the images for details. Thank you.

Thank you, Delta Prime, really appreciate the information. The display is from an instrument which was purchased 13 months ago for my son. Accidents do happen, and unfortunately, one such accident shattered the display. I did contact the reputable company however was told that they can offer me a new instrument with 20% discount as long as the damaged unit is returned. I am determined to find a workable solution.

What you might do is post at Renesas, Samsung, Sharp, EDT..... websites asking for a second source
replacement. The other possibility is you design a translation board to map Newhaven pinout to
another display, providing their signaling same.

Left hand column list of manufacturers :

Oddly enough I do not see a 128 x 64 filter choice in the table, which seems to say # manufacturers might be quite small.

Also do searches on "• Built-in ST7565R controller", maybe luck out that way.

Also contact Newhaven and get a list of their distributors, you might luck out and find a
display at a specific distributor....

Regards, Dana.

If we search using 'instrument' we get no where - it must have an actual purpose...... make, model number etc? Is there some reason you won't disclose this?
