300VDC @ 50A equates to 15kW of power.

Do you even have a domestic supply that can deliver that level of power? Most households (in the UK anyway) have 80A or 100A fused supplies that limits the TOTAL consumption to 18-24kW max.

You'd have to have a fixed connection to your incoming panel to power it......

hi

before I possibly close the thread, and before anyone else responds, you had better explain a few things

1) do you have the knowledge and comprehension of the power level you want to deal with ?
2) what are you trying to achieve ? that is, what do you want the 300V 50A for ? what is it going to power ?
3) where is the power being taken from ? are you at an industrial/commercial site ( usually lots of current capability mains supplies or at home, where you would not be able to do what you want to ? .... See @kellys_eye 's comments

Hi Daven,
Please see my responses below:
1) yes i do, but not advance level
2) it is an experiment i am busy trying , which will require AC to DC it can be 220/240vdc not necessary 300Vdc as long it can handle about +/-50amp if less is not a problem
3) the power will be coming from generator 220Vac 1KV and is for home use if it works i will use 5kv
Thank you

Assuming 5 kVa, thats max. 22 A @ 220 V or 16.7 A @ 300 V.
Far from 50 A.

So what?
220 V
1 kV or
5 kV?
Hi Harald
the power will come from 1 kv generator 220Vac if my experiment works i will switch to 5kv generator 220Vac,
so i need help what to use to convert the 240Vac to let say 240Vdc because the power from the generator is 220 to 240 Vac

It is either 5 kV or 220 V. You can't have both. What is it?
Please see my responses below:
1) yes i do, but not advance level
Seems your level of understanding doesn't include correct units. Makes me wonder whether we should support your dealing with such dangerous power levels.

Without even knowing what you intend to do with such current/voltage levels I can be quite certain that it is both dangerous (potentially fatal) and IDIOTIC give your admitted level of knowledge of the issue.

Hi Kellys,
i tried my best to explain what i need to do ,English is not my first language ,however IDIOTIC is bit strong word ,i am 47 years old i do have knowledge on ac/dc power not on a professional level ,the help i am looking for is simple ,what use to convert 220Vac to 220Vac coming from generator if i can work 22 A @ 220 V as per Harold i take it .is a green power experiment
