12vDC Truck Backup Camera
Wont turn on with 12.45vDC from my truck, or 14.4vDC when engine running... But when I plug the camera into a 12vDC 1.5A transformer from 120vAC, it does turn on.
I am miffed. I was thinking about adding a diode to the positive side of the 12v connection...
Any thoughts guys and gals?
Wired:
Stereo Aux 12v out to a relay--> at the relay I provided 12v from battery---from the relay---> to both the video monitor and the camera. Yes the monitor works, and to reiterate, the camera does not work from vehicles power but does work from 12vDC transformer from 120vAC, and YES I double checked the polarity.
