If it is a standard fitting bulb, it can be changed for a 24V one. A 28V bulb would last longer.

Besides over-voltaging the switch, you have to know the amperage. If you've got a
high amperage circuit it'll play hell with the 12V switch if it's not designed for the
amperage you're passing through it. (It SHOULD be listed on the switch itself someplace).

This appears to be a single pole switch with three pins, so I think it's wired like one of these but more likely to be the incandescent. Measure the lamp current @ 12V and we can go from there.

It's rated at 10ADC.

EDIT: It doesn't state if it's 10ADC or AC. It should though!

The datasheets are horrible, probably some mass produced Asian switch and the reseller just tossed together a cheap datasheet...

*Edit confirmed they are just a distributor, if you download the catalog from the "Alan Butcher Components Ltd" website they state such... I'll bet if you track down the real manufacture of the switch ( Molveno OEM, out of Italy) you will garnish a lot more information about it...

The 33FB datasheet says 12VDC 10A

Hi Chris

The lamp current at 12V is .038A

Nice bit of sleuthing CC.
