whats the va rating, cuzz davelectronic needs some 220 v primary 15-22 v secondary at 300va

transformer sale

Hi there, thanks for the thoughts on looking in on them transformers for me.
I had seen them, not 100% but by size i would hazard a guess at 20 to 30 VA might be wrong, 300 VA is a big lump, if i purchased one over here in the uk it would be some where in the £ 40.00 ball park figure, not to much to pay.

My cheap answer is going to be re working a MOT ( microwave oven transformer ) i know a lot of people think waste of time, but ive got to try it to satisfy my own curiosity, as i think for the power i want it will work, but air cooled due to continuous use at about 50% duty cycle.

PS, I would avoid cutting the wires quit so close, not much to work with, enough if the user of them is careful.
