Hi,
I recently bought 2 of these items, both worked fine until they stopped!
I'm trying to find the chip, a 14 pin IC which drives the circuit.
It must be a decade counter / LED driver combination, not much else noteworthy on the board.
It does have a round black buzzer and reset push switch though.
Top two pins are + Vcc and -, the next two gnd and trigger
Typically, being Chinese, the IC number has been scratched off, so no help there.
I'd thought of a microcontroler such as pic but can't see a clock anywhere.
I have Googled to no avail, and wondered if someone has an idea what it might be?
Any ideas would be a great help. I want to replace the IC's and get the circuit working again.
Thanking you in anticipation,
Kind regards,
RGR

I'd say it's probably a microcontroller.

What happened immediately before it failed? (Did you connect the power backwards, or apply the wrong voltage?)
