24v dc to 480v dc - questions

So I have a small battery bank running at 24v and I need to charge a capacitor bank at 480v - from what I have read so far I can't simply get a 1:20 transformer and poof theres my voltage, so what do I need to get my voltage from 24vdc to 480vdc?

You will need a DC/DC converter that is capable of generating 480V from 24V + expert help.

Since you have to askt this question, your level of knowledge is imho insufficient to tackel this setup alone. Get expert help - 480V can be lethal!

You are undoubtedly correct in your assessment - I do intend to enlist the aid of an expert once I have all my components around. Learning as I go.
