3M overhead projector parts

I need a fresnal lens for a 3M model 1700 overhead projector. I have
dealt with MB Electronics before and although it is a good company
their prices seem to be retail. This is a very expensive lens, (over
50.00 ). Does anyone know of a 3M parts wholesaler? Thanks. Lenny

Do you know the size? I grabbed the large lenses from a pair of 3M
overhead projectors that were on their way to the dump. I can take some
measurements and photos, if it will help.

K.M.R. Electronics (www.kmr.com) in Santa Ana, California is a huge
audio-visual parts supplier and they have all the 3M parts.

The customer had removed the original so I can't measure but if you
could tell me what the measurements of yours are perhaps I could see
if the school has another of these units and compare it with yours.
These lenses are very thin, about 1/16" and about 12" square if I had
to guess. Do you recall how the lenses were held in place? That would
also provide a clue as to what model projector they may have comeout
of. Thanks, Lenny.
