42 vizio e421vo no power...

basically the lcd tv recieves no power. Reading a lot and trying to determine the problems, but no power and no sign of power, no amber light, yes, followed all the basics of testing, the power supply is what i determined and since the power supply was a pretty low price i decided to invest in it.. well still no power at all. reading and researching more maybe possible its the mainboard also, but if it was the mainboard would i get a sign of power at least?

You may get some guidance here if you give some specifics.
Make and model, post schematic or manual, post some close up pictures of circuit board you'r working on, and an explanation of where where you tested for power.

Hello, I have a Vizio E3D420VX which was turning on, picking up channels and then, turning off immediately by itself, but now, is not turning on at all, I am here to hear all recommendations.
I am thinking on replacing the power supply board, or both (power and main boards).
Some of the traces and components have a tan color on board around them, maybe from heat, see picture.
