A little extra knowledge required...

I posted earlier (about 3 weeks ago) regarding the route into a Panasonic
NV-EX1B camcorder to a particular section in order to effect a repair. It
was a bit of a tall order expecting someone to know but it was always worth
a try.

I'm now left with a working EX1B that still needs the rear door assembly
replacing (the new part I have already), but have acquired some knowledge as
to how the rest of it comes apart and I'm now quite confident to remove the
bits from all six 'faces'. What I need now is that little bit of extra
knowledge to guide me to the next area to unscrew and dis-assemble. I have
exploded parts diagrams, but I'm not sure what to look for after I've
removed all the obvious and easy bits.

Is there a book or website or anything really that can point me in the right
direction? It's a fun experiment that has now become a bit of a challenge.
If anyone does have the same unit and parts sheets, it's part 33 'rear door'
on the mechanical parts list. So far I have only one screw left over, had no
shocks & broken only one ribbon cable connecter....

Here's hoping......

Mike.
