Hello,
Looking for help to build the following:

Need input voltage of 13.2 volts (12V DC automotive).

Need an output feed to a sensor that will feed it 5.0 volts.
(This sensor outputs .5 to 5.0 volts)

Need a sensor return wire feeding the following:

3 each LED indicator lights (green, yellow and red)...
Green on from 0.5 to 2.9 volts
Yellow on from 3.0 to 4.0 volts
Red on from 4.1 to 5.0 volts
These need to be wired so one is on ALL the time, ie, as soon as the green goes off the yellow comes on instantly, etc.

If someone would be interested in manufacturing 50 of these (fully potted in epoxy; in a small, dash mounted box) as an initial production run, I would like to discuss further.

Thank you.

hi, welcome to EP

at the moment, you haven't really given enough info to help you

what is the sensor ?, do you have any existing circuit diagram to go from ?

In addition to what is mentioned above, your specs, if followed literally, would likely result in instances where a pair of less appear to be on. This is because noise will cause the input voltage to rapidly move across the switching point. You will probably need to specify some hysteresis.

I'm sorry I can't go into details on the sensor, I may be better off just using a simple analog voltage gauge that reads from 0 to 5 volts and put 3 color bands on the face.

Next question, anyone know where to get a 2" automotive style 0-5V analog gauge?

I'll start Googling!

Thank you for your responses, I think it clarified my decision.
