Hi there Paul
welcome to the forums :)

well a 120V to ~ 80V transformer for a start
a bridge rectifier current rating unknown .... you havent told us what is needed
at least 1 electrolytic cap at ~ 1000uF / Amp that you need
for regulation, very basic would be a zener diode and resistor if looking at ~ 1 Amp max, otherwise you will need a transistor regulator circuit.
I dont know of any regulator chips that go that hi in voltage

rectify, filter, regulate.

Without more information I can't help you. I *hope* you're not taling about mains here. If so, the answer becomes: transformer, rectify, filter (and optionally regulate). The regulation is optional depending on your needs and the transformer you choose (and the load, etc)

There is this chip:
Supertex LR8
It is rated for 20mA only, but nevertheless in some applications may be useful.
