ADT or Visonic Powermax + ?

Well I have a reason to buy a security system now that I almost lost
my new atv.
So whats your opinion on me getting ADT to come out and install, or me
buying the Powermax + system and doing it myself.

I have no problem with the installing of any system myself.
I just wonder if the powermax is as good a system as ADT and their
"professional" install?

I basically want a system that is wireless & dependable and will make
a hellava lot of noise if broke into. Its nice it will call me too.

This powermax + system looks like a good system and its upgradable to
cameras.

It's not that the Powermax isn't any good, its that in my opinion almost
everything else is better

Or is it just me?

Good question, when I first heard one I liked the recorded voice however you
often hear a click before and afterwards which doesn't sound like much but
customers don't like that.

I prefer either the voice from a Lynx or ITI Concord
