I have the Alesis X Guitar which runs off battery or 9v dc block. The powered area is a small pre amp with built in guitar effects.
On switching on the LED display is showing as "88" with no output from the guitar. I can leave it in this state for about 15 minutes switch off and then on again and 80% of the time it will start working, but not reliable. The guitar has been prone to temperature changes in the past as it has been left in a garage. I have give the circuit board a spray with some electronic cleaner to no avail.
If there is anybody in West Sussex who could take a look at this for me, please get in contact.
