Google "two transistor flasher" skip the 555 it's overkill..

Your welcome. Here's an updated version for 12V operation. The LEDs should flash at about 1 Hertz. Each LED is on for 1 second while the other is off. Please note that it's important to observe the polarity of the caps as shown.

Personally, I'd use a 555 because it would only need one timing cap and fewer components.

What would you need to adjust if you wanted to use Three instead of One 12 Volt Yellow LED's as Alternating Flashing Lights?

Could you please draw up a diagram for 12-14 Volt DC Input a using a 555 Timer IC and Three 12 Volt Yellow LED's on each half of the alternating Flasher circuit?

Thank you very much! I think the one using 12 volt input, 2 555 timers and 2 transistors, plus resistors and capacitors should work for my 12 volt LED's I plan to use on my vehicle for 2 sets of 3 Alternating Yellow Warning Lights. I just need to get a few items and start putting together a test circuit.

SEE MY RESPONSE TO DANA, BELOW.

The two of you please note the date of the last posting to this thread: CDRIVE, Mar 26, 2013, post #6.

This thread is DEAD and it is quite likely that CDRIVE is too. The last time I tried to talk to him, his wife said he had suffered a stroke. I got the distinct impression that his wife was having a hard time coping with it, so I decided not to try to intrude on them any further. Back in the day, CDRIVE was a prolific contributor to this forum. I miss him a lot. Perhaps a moderator, or the owners of this website, could "look him up" and find out if he regained his health or, like @KrisBlueNZ, sadly passed away...
