"Anti-Gravity" board (hoverboard) design question

I have read about hoverboard design but have come across a stumbling
block which i hope others can solve.

The main form of enabling the device to hover is Magnetic Ion
Containment.
this should produce a column of charged Ions contained in a magnetic
'cylinder'.
There are a lot of diagrams around on how the system should look/work,
however no particular parts are mentioned.

an example is: http://www.americanantigravity.com/graphics/hovertech/Ion-Column_BW_large.gif

and: http://www.americanantigravity.com/graphics/hovertech/Ion-Containment-Coil_large.gif

if anyone has some information on what parts are required for this
device please let me know. (Part numbers, descriptions, or similar
ideas for 'Hoverboard' designs)

many thanks,

I would suggest you enquire to the physics groups, not the applaince
service groups!

This is what is known as weird sciences. I would be curious to know
how the physics people would react to this one.

If antigravity was really viable, we would be seeing antigravity
devices around, and in the news.

No no, the "True Believers" (ie. kooks) blame a Huge Government Conspiracy,
Area 51, and a large Dalmatian at the end of the street for keeping it all
under wraps.

However, a nice troll by the OP. Keep up the good work..

Hey, who told you about the Dalmatian? That's supposed to be a secret!

Disney put it in a movie (it's subliminal). He was in on it too, of course.

I've heard that they've got ol' Walt cryogenically preserved. I've heard
that some people just have their head frozen - if they put it in liquid
helium, would the neurons become superconductors, and the guy wake up
and be superintelligent?

Probably wake up and be a bit pissed, I'd say! "Where's my body gone - put
it down for a moment and it's gone!!"
