I'm having a problem with Ponyprog 2000: I don't know of an acceptable
file format for programming an AVR 8515. My assembly files are assembled
into *.HEX format which Ponyprog seems to load without stripping line
numbers and formatting info.

How do I get it to load a .HEX file so I can program my AVR's?

Not a direct answer but you might want to hop over to www.avrfreaks.com
for some good info that I *think* includes notes on the Ponyprog.
