Anyone Know HOW to read old inductors?

I know the color code, do you start from the painted end?

Inductor #1 Black Painted End Black - Red - Black - White - Gray (is it 20mH?)
Inductor #2 Black Painted End Black - Green - Black - White - Grey (is it 50mH?)
Inductor #3 Green Painted End Green - Black - Red - Red - Black - White (what is it?)

I doubt it's an inductor, more likely a tubular capacitor or resistor

on resistance range on a meter does it read some resistance or is it open circuit ?

Great call Davenn, they're picofarad capacitors.
Never would have thought of that.
