Does anyone have any troubleshooting documentation
for this precision 10MHz osc? My unit appears to be
AM modulating around 30 KHz. If anyone has the
service manual for this I could sure use some
help...
thanks

Assuming that the model number in the subject line is a typo, and should really
be 10554A, there is a bit of info available. This oscillator and its successor,
the 10811 were the mainstay of the HP Z3801A GPS frequency standard that was
used by many cell phone systems. Take a stroll through the K8CU web site at
http://www.realhamradio.com/GPS_Frequency_Standard.htm. He has a great page on
the 10811, including a tutorial on getting into the main oven, where all the
good stuff lives. The 10811 is the same as the 10554 in most respects.

You can download the schematic for the 10544A at

Download a copy of the 10811 manual from http://www.hparchive.com/
