Attn Jim Rojas Please help me!!!

I was told to contact you about getting the program from a pitway chip
for a Vista 20p. The others have stated that you read the chips.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Send the board to me. I will be more than happy to unlock it for you.

I dont need it unlocked I need the .bin or .hex file that goes on the
87c51. I lost the chip a while ago and I dont have another one to read.
I have blanks and a burner just no file.
Thanks again.

I read the chips, and default the panels back to factory settings. I don't
make unauthorized copies of the firmware. That would be a serious copyright
violation.

I dont feel that it would be an unauthorized copy of the firmware, the
unit used to have a chip I just lost it. Sending me a copy of a .bin or
..hex file is not making a copy of the micro.

I think it falls under the category of reverse engineering. Once you read
the firmware, and save the bin or hex, that's an infringement. Then placing
that bin or hex on a chip not originally obtained from Ademco would be
another infringement.

You can buy a used Vista20P board on ebay for $50. An attorney to explain
your actions in a court of law will run you $200 an hour on average.

I am not trying to be a wise ass, I am just letting you know what to expect
if you choose to pursue your course of action.

Actually it still would be an unauthorized copy, just because you lost it
doesn't mean you can copy another
