hi, i am trying to repair old atx psu,and i need some help.
it wont start, when i short green and red just clicks once.
No fuses are blown, and nothing appears or smells burnt.
checked 4 diodes, 2 big condesers, three primary transistors (13007), secondaru condensers(just bigger ones, marked blue), three diodes looked like transistors and all ok. there is 310v on primary condensers, and 5v on pin 9 is present. ic is AT2005
what can i do next? thanks

green and red doesn't sound right

usually green and black ... with green being the PWR_ON wire and black being 0V

confirm that on your PSU pins that the green wire IS THE power on wire

i was using it with green+black as power for led strips 12v, so i think that brown is not necessary
also when connected to mobo, wont start pc

Sounds like you made a wrong connection and fried something in the power on section.
