Bar graph driver, 5-15V

Hi all

I've been given a project in which i am to design a PSU with a variable 5-15V output, indicated by a 10 step bar graph LED. I am however having a little trouble figuring out how to setup the LM3914 driving the bar graph.



Any assistance regarding this matter would be very much appreciated.

You will need to convert the 5-15V range to 0-12V You can do this with an opamp.

You will have problem if psu dc output was +5V. You will notice that LM3914 +V minimum voltage was +6.8V.
You need another +DC supply for LM3914 +V.
