I am putting together a circuit (here) that uses a BAS70-04 SMD module that has 2 Schottky diodes in a package.

Not wanting to have to solder a tiny SMD is there any reason I can't just use two BAT42 diodes? Is there a better replacement than the BAT42?

Bump - nobody got an opinion? I'm going to give it a go anyway I think...

Unless there's a particular reason to use that device, you should be able to replace it with individual diodes.

To me there seems to be no such reason.
