Hello!

I am looking to construct a transmitter and receiver that can transmit audio across a short distance (<50m).

So far, I have been looking at RF Modules such as:

http://www.rapidonline.com/Electric...-43-0228/?source=googleps&utm_source=googleps

http://www.maplin.co.uk/rf-transmitter-receiver-and-transceiver-modules-267236

I'm not sure if these modules are capable of transmitting and receiving audio, I'm doing this project for a bit of fun - but don't really have much experience on the RF side of things and don't really know where to start!?

Any suggestions, or information would be greatly appreciated!

Kind Regards,

Eliot

I would say yes these can talk to each other, just make sure you dont drop the transmitter, looks like a crystal and those are super fragile, paper thin

although still a college student so no expert, I would say that the 'data rate' is just referring to additional digital code that can be transmitted with the audio. Like newer cars telling you which song is playing on the radio, or when a cop presses his radio and his name shows up at the operators terminal
