Basic stamp 2 TV video out

Good afternoon,is there a way to display composite video signal from basic stamp to an CRT TV ? what is the simplest code to display image(text) on tv????

There's an example of this on the arduino playground (also open source prototyping). Not sure if you could figure out how to use it with basic stamp. I've never heard of it before, but I bet the programming would be pretty close. Is this written in C++?
