Earlier today I discovered a really quick way to charge AA or AAA alkaline
batteries. I took the 12V PbAcid battery from my computer Back-up system and
connected it up to charge an AA battery for just, say, 5 seconds. It feels red
hot, but no leaks or explosions. It seems to even work on very worn-down
batteries. I must have done all the dead batteries my friends gave me, but
unfortunately two of them leaked very badly and even sprayed. One of the sprays
missed my eye by millimeters, and some of the liquid went into my mouth. To say
the least, it was disgusting. Have anyone had any experience with this?
