Good day
I purchased a couple of battery chargers at an auction sale. I didn't realize until I got home they are 24 volt chargers for a stair lift.
Would it be possible to change these to 12 volt. There is a switch to change from dry cell to lead acid batteries .i will try and get pictures of the circuit board
Thanks
Martin

It looks like a linear regulator. Reducing the output voltage will increase the heat dissipated by the device dramatically (assuming it's possible).

Easier to buy a 2nd 12v battery and charge in series, this uses a microprocessor apparently so you'd have to change the resistor dividers, among many other things

Thanks guys,
Good idea with the two 12 volt batteries in series.
