Battery charging question

Hello,
I would like to charge this battery (12v 7ah)

For that purpose Can I use a 12v 2a battery charger ? Or what should I use ?

Hello,

I do not read french, but it looks like a SLA battery.
Use a charger specialy made for SLA batteries, to avoid over pressure.

If I understand correcly SLA and VRLA batteries are the same right ? To be fair the price hurts a bit ... Would this do ?

No. The charge current is to high for your sealed lead acid battery. It should be charged at a current of not more than 25% of capacity. You also need a charger that starts in constant in current mode and then switches to constant voltage mode when the charge current dips below the level set for the constant current mode and then either switches to maintenance mode or switches off when the battery is fully charged.

It looks like that the mentioned charger is to strong for your battery.
Read the following pages of the battery academy about the battery and charging methods:

They recommend a maximum charging current of about 0.1 C , that is about 700 mA for your battery.

Sorry, but your quote of the charge current is not strictly correct.
