Trying to use a lite Brite for an elf on the shelf set up. Sometimes my daughter wakes up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom or with a bad dream. So I feel like I need to turn it on before I go to bed, but I don't want it to die before she goes to school. Any guesses if 3 AA batteries will run it that long?

I haven't the faintest idea. The instruction manual it comes with has next to nothing in information. It was bought last Christmas, it's not a vintage model.

According to one customer review on A... the brite lite turns of automatically after a (unspecified) time, so your effort would be moot. CHeck this before you continue.
Lacking info on the power consumption of the toy, one cannot say how long a set of batteries will last. Maybe a mains powered adapter e.g. like this one is a possible solution? Provided the brite light doesn't turn off automatically.
