Just looking to see some coments from dealers who were affected by the
blacout and how they handled it, and what they are offering to give the
customer piece of mind

It had both troubles, "low battery" and "loss of clock", plus it had been in
service for four years. Whenever I do a takeover, I always replace the
battery whether it needs it or not, so this battery has probably failed due
to old age. Batteries are cheaper than a service call...

You're right about the damage to a battery from deep discharge. I'm not out
of the woods yet....

even worse we have proof that someone used it for 5 year and didn't even
tested it...
