Folks,

I am a beginning electronics student and am having trouble figuring out just
how to connect a bode plotter to a simple transformer circuit to measure
magnitude vs. freq. Can anyone give me some general guidelines for
connecting the pos/neg IN nodes and pos/neg OUT nodes of the plotter?

I have never heard of a Bode plotter, but since the Bode plot is a dB
ratio of magnitudes OUT/IN and phase difference OUT-IN, it would make
sense that the voltage driving transformer primary be connected to
plotter IN , and voltage on secondary go to plotter OUT. Somewhere on
plotter should be input impedance levels/attenuator settings and
permissible input voltage ranges- these must be observed.
