What would you ask of a Bread Board, other then 'better, tighter connections'?

FTDI?
USB in/out?

What would be your dream development 'Bread Board'?

To actually stop procrastinating and buy one would be a good start for me. Went and stood in Maplins with my bank account just filled up by the monthly paycheque.. and didn't buy anything on account of food bills, mortgage and car repairs. One day I'll just do it & buy the shop :)

You don't have to spend lots of money for your first simple and even slightly advanced projetcs.

For simple circuits you can use a real bread-board, see image on top here.,
Any non-conducting material can be uses for the base. Insert thumbtacks for solder joints. in this example (German text) a piece of drywall is being used for the base.

Of course, you'll get lost with this technique when it comes to high-pincount chips.
