Hello all,

Below is link to a very poor diagram of my double bridge rectifier circuit (i'm just to tired to draw it better). My problem is that one of my bridge rectifier continuously burns up. The other rectifier is fine. Can anybody give me any idea as to why the one rectifier continously fries.

thanks in advance,
Brian

Your main problem is that you have absolutely no idea how to use a bridge rectifier.

I can't easily interpret your diagram, but it's likely that you're shorting something to earth through one of the mis-wired bridge rectifiers.

you can't leave one of the AC pins disconnected. You must connect the AC across these pins.
