JavaScript. The website below, of course, is all Java Applets -- similar
but different. AFAIK, JS runs entirely in the browser; Applets are started
in the browser and run using the Java Runtime (much like embedded Flash runs
using the installed Adobe stuff), which is only one step removed from a
full-on Java executable (which uses the Java Runtime and nothing else,
unless it can also be linked/compiled for a target system, I'm not sure).

At any rate, yeah, Falstad is a wonderful resource of E&M and physics and
stuff!

Agreed, lots of interesting stuff there too!

The Circuitlab site seems to use HTML5 (some interesting info when you
view the source).

I like the idea of being able to post (links to) circuits and have
others experiment-on/modify them.

It seems many people on this group (& others) post pics to schematics
and/or Spice netlists - this site consolidates all of that.

FWIW
Chris.

The problem is that many of us professional users of Spice tools
aren't likely to go to any length to use another tool just to pass it
onto SED.

No matter what others use... IF it can generate a netlist I can "play"
it in PSpice.

If you can train yourself to work from a PDF and a netlist, you
definitely can run my PSpice stuff in LTspice and perhaps in
Circuitlab... though I see no such way there at the moment.

I do note that Circuitlab is being developed by a couple of members of
the Brass Rat Club, so it bears watching (that ought to aggravate
Larkin... I will be awarded my red blazer in June :)

OK. I'll bite, what is Brass Rat Club?

?-)
