I have 5.5 installed on both my home and laptop computers. I have a
circuit that is complete and touched up the board from that circuit on
my laptop. Then I copied the board file to a memory stick and took it
home. Then I copied the brd file onto my home computer and did some
more touch up without touching the schematic (although it was open to
keep the files synced. Today, when I tried to add a component, the
library is completely blank. I went to options and made sure the
library was available. I have 5.3 and 5.4 still installed on my
computer. Has this happened to anyone else and what is the fix.
Thanks

On the Eagle command line type this:

use *

Then hit enter. Now your libraries should show up. If they do, buy me a
beer. Just kidding :)

This is IMHO a strange quirk of Eagle. Best is to write this command
down in bold letters at a prominent place in the handbook, maybe under
libraries. That's what I did.

What kind of beer? I would be happy to buy you a beer if I were
close enough. What version of Eagle did this start in? I I never had
this happen in version in 4.whatever.
