Hi, I'm busy with Electrotechnics and I'm busy doing some worked examples and I've come across this question and i have no idea where to start:

"A coil having 1500 turns of a conductor with a combined cross-sectional area of 300mm(squared) and a mean length per turn of 400mm, has an inductance of 3H"

Calculate:
"The resistance of the winding if the resistivity (specific resistance) of the conductor is 4micro-OHM.m"

Some help would be hugely appreciated. I cannot find the correct formula to even start working on this question.

Well, you can start by calculating the length of the wire used to wind the coil

The resistance is the resistivity * length / area
You will need to get the area in meters squared and the length in meters.
