Hello!

Recently my grandmother's lamp bulb went out. This lamp is very old, and I can't find any information about it whatsoever. If anyone could help me identify this base size of the bulb it would be greatly appreciated. Here is a URL to some high-resolution photos I've taken of it.

The two different letters that I could find, were "M5B" and what I think is "PLC" however this is covered by solder so I'm not certain. These two codes don't bring up much useful information on Google.

Thanks again in advance for your time.

Looks like an E14 socket to me, nothing out of the ordinary.
The lamp is a 25 W / 120 V type.
You should be able to get a replacement anywhere you buy your light bulbs.

Thank you. I will look into this. However I believe that it is slightly larger than the normal E14 socket.

I'll look around however.

I thought so, too, upon looking at the images. There is an E16 standard, which would fit the measured diameter from your images, but it is as far as I know uncommon for light bulbs.
