Can I add an Aux. input to my RCA super radio?

Is there any way to do this?

Thanks

This is difficult to read... and yea, it's possible.

I've fixed the thread title. Yes, we'll need a model number and a readable schematic. That one is "essence of schematic".

Scorp, what we need to see is a schematic or circuit diagram that we can use to follow the signal path through the radio.
If that cannot be found, then very clear pictures of the front and back will suffice as long as we can see all of the traces and components.
Audio equipment has multiple stages on the board, and what we need to locate is the stage that amplifies the audio before it outputs to the speakers. This will allow us to point out a spot where you can inject your own audio signal (via RCA for example) and have the radio amplify and play that instead.

I cannot answer the question about the resistor on the AM lead.

I don't know why he connected a resistor from the AM antenna to ground. Perhaps he isn't using AM at all, and wants to avoid noise if AM is accidentally selected.

There is some variation in design between models and manufacturers. The principle of interrupting the normal audio and inserting new audio at the same point is always going to be valid, but the devil is in the details. That's why we need the schematic of that model.

If you can't find a schematic, post pictures of both sides of the board and we may be able to follow the signal visually.

That resistor on the AM antenna terminals is there for a non-esoteric reason. It's easier to grab a resistor lead with a small alligator clip on a wire antenna rather than grabbing a screw head. The high resistance makes it invisible to the radio. :D

Good luck on finding the schematic for the RCA.
