hi ive recently replaced the pulse transformer in my metrum octave dac with a lundahl 1572 ,it requires a .01 cap on the input which i fitted ,then i noticed downstream was a SMC capacitor ,the value i know not(KA5 ???)IMG_20180108_233318(2).jpg ,my question is should i bypass the SMC cap with the one ive fitted,or ditch the one ive fitted and use the SMC cap ?

this is the original pulse transformer

if you cannot find service info for the board, then you will have to remove the cap and measure it with a capacitance meter
it's value could be anything between 10nF and 100nF (.01uF to .1uF)
