Hello Gentlemen

I bought a Casio electric piano model LK300TV about 2 years ago.

It plays great and works great when it wants to. At other times it falls asleep.

I find plugging it in and leaving it for about an hour.

Then unplugging it and plugging it back in can waken it up and it works great

So great I cannot believe it went to sleep in the first place

That is untill next time I want to use it

Any suggestions will be much appreciated

My best guess at this point is perhaps you have a situation where too much power is being supplied to the keyboard causing a thermal shutdown. This really is a guess as information is a bit limited.

Are you using an AC power adapter or batteries? If an adapter, what is the specifications on the adapter label (include everything)?

I will probably ask more questions once we have these answers. Thanks.

@vbplayer : Do you realize that you answered to a 9 year old thread? The op hasn't been seen here since that time.
