I needed a speed control capacitor for my ceiling fan.
I have bought them in the past at Lowes, I couldn't find them on the usual
display and was told they don't carry them. I went to Home Depot and found
the same thing,
even a store that specializes in fans didn't have them.
Same with Sears, Walmart, Kmart, Radio Shack and
two electrical supply stores.
Has there been a liability problem with selling these capacitors? Or some
other problem?
I already installed a new fan.
