Hey guys, this dbx 215 eq works only on one channel, other channel had simply stopped working one day so the unit has been shelved for like 2 years:

I need to use only one channel for an experiment but before I would like to spray some deoxit to clean the working channel as I had some scratchiness turning the volume knobs. From these pics, can you guys advise me on exactly where the deoxit should be sprayed please? Also I am guessing I should not spray the individual sliders from the front?

I have sprayed individual sliders from the front and never had a problem.

I don't have any issues with the sliders so would be moot point I think, it's only the volume knob which needs cleaning to take the scratchiness away for whenever turning it. Instructions on the net suggest removing the knob, spraying the shaft and rotating the knob back and forth a few times.

You need to get the contact cleaner inside by whatever means possible.
Potentiometers differ in that some have openings and some are almost sealed. Spray where ever you can to penetrate, and rotate a few times.
But do the sliders too as you have the cleaner out.
