Hello,

The following page will tell you more about the amplifier classes and the related conducting angle:

Bertus
Bertus, I am a bit surprised at your answer.
99% of this article is about audio applications. The only quick mention of RF is under the Class C heading. Once again, I am not disputing the fact that for audio applications, class B requires two devices. My posted circuit is not an audio amplifier, but an RF amplifier, and in that application a class B amplifier works just fine. And yes it is biased properly for class B.

I do believe this is what I have been saying all along. In the appropriate application, a singled ended class B stage works just fine. (it can be argued that the image posted here, with zero bias, is actually class C since conduction angle is <180°)

Apples and oranges. The amplifier classes are defined with sine wave inputs.
When you quoted the definition, you said nothing about sine waves.

What other secret rules do you have?
