Is there a reason why you want to use the Weaver SSB generation system ?
from what I have read about that method its the more difficult way to go. and cuz of that rarely used

Specially where there are a number of good modulator chips out there for more standard and easier ways of DSB/SSB generation

Actually, i belonged to Pakistan and here weaver transmitter is used widely for voice communication purposes. that's is why i want to built this system. actually it is my terminal project.

thanks for your reply. if you can help me i will be thankful to you.you can also provide any other system as well.

As far as using that system goes, I cant help you, I personally wouldnt use that method there are easier/ more straight forward ways to produce a sideband signal

The AN612 chip is a specifically designed balanced modulator, has hi carrier suppression
and a minimum of external components. was used in many brands of SSB CB radios

The MC1496 Balanced Mod-Demod chip is a more modern one, has an excellent datasheet available online which gives a good number of circuit configuration examples

cheers

Hi I'm in Sydney, Australia ... been into electronics for over 40 yrs
I did my training in telecommunications, also did a BSc degree in geology ( another of my major interests). have worked my own business and well as for a number of companies over the years. Currently for a company specialising in commercial sound and video systems as well as some RF electronics.
I dont claim to be an expert ... heck there's lots I dont know. my personal specialising is in RF electronics working with microwave gear up to 24GHz and looking forward to getting some 47GHz stuff going.

The good thing abt a forum like this is there are a number of guys who have interests in particular fields of electronics and for an area I dont know much about there's sure to be some one else that can fill in the gaps.
With the growing complexity of electronics these days its very difficult to keep up with all fields and a person tends to specialise more and more and just keep a basic knowledge of other areas of the game.

Gosh as far as recommending an area of research ... thats really up to you .... you know better than any of us what parts of electronics interests you the most
telecom's is still a major growing field. the need to compress more channels into a very limited spectrum is constantly producing new ideas to overcome the transmission bandwidth problem with different modes of multiplexing etc

Above all have fun and just go for broke, ... dont let anything stand in the way of learning / discovering new things :) you live in an exciting time, the technology around these days didnt exist when I was in my early yrs of electronics.
My first computer was a Sinclair ZX81 with 2kb of ram!!! Z80 processor... yep I learnt how to program in BASIC :)

cheers
